Serves as the Back-Up Utility Plant Operator (UPO) and assists in the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of the water and wastewater treatment systems. Responsible for regulatory compliance in all utility operations to include completion of required forms and reports required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). Performs general maintenance and cleaning of water facilities. Performs all phases of maintenance, cleaning and repairs to other park facilities, equipment, grounds, and electrical and plumbing systems utilizing equipment such as hand tools, power tools, mowers, tractors, and other machinery. Responsible for preparing reports, training park personnel, revenue collection and accounting, providing visitor services, and assists in the enforcement of park rules and regulations.
