As Head of Tech &amp; AI, you will own every technology decision across the company — from the internal MarTech products and automation systems that power our agency, to the technical SEO quality delivered to 100+ client brands. The role is primarily focused on internal product and platform development, with a supporting role in client-facing technical SEO leadership.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate combines deep SEO domain knowledge with a modern, AI-first approach to development. You don’t need to write every line of code — but you do need to architect systems, review code, make build-vs-buy decisions, and ship products using AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and similar IDE-integrated AI platforms. If you believe AI fundamentally changes how software is built and you want to lead that transformation inside a fast-growing agency, this role is for you.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Internal Tech, Product &amp; AI</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Product Ownership &amp; Development </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Decision-Making: </span></span>Own all technology decisions across the company — architecture, tech stack selection, build-vs-buy, and infrastructure.</li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Product Development: </span></span>Build new internal SaaS and webapp products from scratch and continuously improve existing tools and platforms.</li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">AI-First Development: </span></span>Lead development using AI-assisted IDEs (Cursor, Claude Code, Antigravity) as the primary approach — architecture decisions, code review, and shipping products at speed.</li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maintenance &amp; Operations: </span></span>Ensure all operating tools and platforms remain stable, performant, and continuously improved.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Automation &amp; Data Infrastructure </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Automation Workflows: </span></span>Design and build robust automation using N8N, Zapier, Make, and custom integrations to eliminate manual work across the agency.</li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Data Architecture: </span></span>Manage and scale data infrastructure including APIs, databases, BigQuery, and Marketing Cloud Platforms to create unified reporting ecosystems.</li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Proprietary Tools: </span></span>Spearhead development of proprietary tools that give ANGA a competitive advantage — streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team &amp; AI Transformation </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team Leadership: </span></span>Manage and mentor the technical team, building a high-performing unit aligned with the agency’s fast-paced culture.</li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">AI Adoption: </span></span>Drive AI adoption across all teams — ensuring AI tools are leveraged to reduce workloads, minimize time consumption, and increase output quality.</li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Resource Optimization: </span></span>Develop frameworks that use AI and automation to optimize resource allocation, reduce human error, and scale operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical SEO &amp; Client Excellence </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Strategy &amp; Auditing: </span></span>Define strategy for comprehensive technical SEO audits and implementation roadmaps across the client portfolio.</li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Algorithm Expertise: </span></span>Act as the agency’s lead expert on search engine algorithm updates, translating shifts into actionable strategies for clients and teams.</li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Performance Standards: </span></span>Set and maintain quality standards for Core Web Vitals, site speed, crawlability, indexing, and schema markup across all client properties.</li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Developer Collaboration: </span></span>Oversee client-side and internal developers to ensure technical SEO requirements are implemented accurately.</li>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Client Communication: </span></span>Join high-level client meetings as the key technical stakeholder when needed, translating complex issues into clear business insights. English proficiency is a plus.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5–10+ years of experience in technology leadership, software engineering, or web development.</li>\n<li>Strong SEO background — deep understanding of technical SEO, search algorithms, and how search technologies work.</li>\n<li>Proven experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar IDE-integrated AI).</li>\n<li>Strong architecture and code review skills — ability to design systems and evaluate code quality without writing every line.</li>\n<li>Experience building and shipping web applications and SaaS products.</li>\n<li>Proficiency with modern web technologies (React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, WordPress).</li>\n<li>Experience with automation platforms (N8N, Zapier, Make) and data tools (BigQuery, APIs, databases).</li>\n<li>DevOps familiarity (CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, containerization).</li>\n<li>Project management skills with experience managing cross-functional priorities and timelines.</li>\n<li>Experience in a digital agency or MarTech environment is a strong plus.</li>\n<li>English communication skills are a plus for occasional client-facing interactions.</li>\n</ul>",
