Greet and seat each party, politely answer the phone and take reservations and control overall flow of service. Previous experience required and must have reliable transportation and flexible schedule.</p><p></p><p><b>Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities</b>:</p><ul><li>Professionally and calmly maintain steady, even flow of seating.</li><li>Make detailed guest reservations at the Crow’s Bench in accordance with guidelines.</li><li>Responsible to greet all guests and respond appropriately to requests and special needs.</li><li>Give guests approximate wait times and offer a seat at the bar when available.</li><li>Seat guests with consideration of reservations, guest preference, servers’ workload, restaurant capacity and ability.</li><li>Hand out menus to guest and bring highchairs for young guests.</li><li>Quickly and accurately inform servers of where guests have been seated and relay any special requests.</li><li>Thank guests for dining upon leaving and invite them to return.</li><li>Perform other tasks to assist in the smooth operation of the restaurant to assure guest satisfaction.</li><li>Respond to guest comments and complaints and assure them you are personally going to see they get a response if necessary, then follow up with supervisor or manager.</li><li>May help with bus person responsibilities on occasion and is expected to provide “staff presence” in the dining room.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Specific Job Skills</b>:</p><p><u>License/Certifications</u>- None. Idaho Food Safety training may be provided</p><p><u>Technical</u>- Computer skills needed for use of Point of Sale system.</p><p><u>Physical Capabilities</u>- Able to walk and stand for 8&#43; hour shifts. May need to lift and carry 25lbs.</p><p><u>Additional</u>-<br /> </p><p><b>Education/Related Experience</b>:</p><p><u>Minimum education required</u>- English reading, writing and verbal communication.</p><p><u>Minimum time in related position</u>- 4 to 6 months F&amp;B experience required, exceptional guest service expected.     </p><p></p>",
