The Day Neuro program serves the adult brain injury and spinal cord injury population with a focus on return to work, school, and community activities. Therapy Aide will also cross-train and work in our Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility on the same campus. Our hospital is located in Lakeway, Texas in the scenic hill country, a suburb of Austin.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role plays an important part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by assisting therapists with treatment preparation, maintaining a safe therapy environment, and supporting daily operations. Duties include but are not limited to: transferring patients, helping patients to and from different locations for programming, light clerical tasks, other duties/projects as assigned, and infection control cleaning and maintenance of therapy equipment. Positive attitude, self-starting initiative, flexibility, and good communication skills a must. We offer a collaborative and supportive team environment. Exposure to PT, OT, and SLP services, ideal for candidates who are pre-therapy schooling. The <strong>Therapy</strong><em><strong> Aide/Therapy Tech</strong> </em>provides care under the direction of a therapist, this position exists to assist patients in the rehabilitation process through provision of requested activities.  Prepares and maintains equipment and physical environment for daily activities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Employees in this position will:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Perform patient related tasks assigned by therapist, including but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist therapists with patient preparation and treatment setup</li>\n <li>Safely transports patients to and from therapy sessions and groups</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy gym and equipment</li>\n <li>Clean and sanitize equipment according to infection control standards</li>\n <li>Monitor therapy areas for safety and report concerns promptly</li>\n <li>Assist with clerical tasks, supply management, and documentation support as needed</li>\n <li>Maintain inventory of therapy equipment and supplies</li>\n <li>Support scheduling coordination and daily workflow needs</li>\n <li>Distributes equipment to new patients according to patient specifications</li>\n <li>Ensures maintenance of cleaning logs and temperature logs</li>\n <li>Participates in facility specific Core Program meetings and demonstrates understanding of patient satisfaction outcome data</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as requested</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<li>High school graduate or equivalent required.</li>\n<li>One or more years of healthcare experience as a rehab aide preferred.</li>\n<li>Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.</li>\n<p>#BSWIR- Inpatient</p>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans</em></p>",
