    "description": "<p>Just 4 Kids Health is adding a mental health component to their Primary Care and Urgent Care services in order to provide children and parents more well rounded approach to healthcare. For this reason, we are seeking Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC), and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to assist in meeting this need for our pediatric patients. The counselor will assess, diagnose, and treat children and adolescents who may have mental, social, or emotional disorders. Assessments, diagnoses, and treatments will be part of an interdisciplinary approach with pediatricians at Just 4 Kids Primary Care and Urgent Care, Case Managers, child advocacy groups, and social workers where needed to provide the most complete patient care.&nbsp; Mental health provider will also play an integral role in developing various ongoing group therapy class series.</p>\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Essential Duties include:</span></strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Excellent communication skills to connect with children and adolescents of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures.</li>\n\t<li>Educates family members on what they can do for their child or how to respond to certain behaviors.</li>\n\t<li>Trained in a variety of assessment tactics to connect with children who are suffering from a variety of conditions.</li>\n\t<li>Assists children in the success of day-to-day activities and in meeting developmental milestones.</li>\n\t<li>Coordinates patient care with necessary disciplines.</li>\n\t<li>Develops treatment plans.</li>\n\t<li>Lead group therapy alongside other counselors and medical providers.</li>\n\t<li>Assists in coordination of referrals.</li>\n\t<li>Meets regularly with patients to ensure that patient needs are continually assessed as well as ongoing treatment plans.</li>\n\t<li>Ensures that the needful information is available to Primary Care Provider on an ongoing basis and any significant change in patient status or condition is communicated in a timely fashion.</li>\n\t<li>Court appearances and deposition testimony may be necessary in cases where children are removed from the home due to abusive or neglectful conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n",
