A physician associate would have the appropriate supervision as required within the practice standards as approved by the Idaho State Board of Medicine and indicated in Chapter C, Rules and Regulations for Physician Associates.
Responsibilities:
Provides primary healthcare to Health West patients, including pediatrics, adult, womens health, and the elderly.

Helps coordinate patient care and fulfill quality measures, including working lists of patients who may be deficient in their preventative care.
Is comfortable with electronic media including computers, electronic medical records, texting, typing, etc.

Duties:
1. Provides high quality patient care. Care must be provided within the FTCA scope of services and defined by Health West (HW). Healthcare should include use of HW clinical guidelines when applicable. Utilizes sound clinical judgement and problem-solving skills to address patient care problems.
