Our mission is to attract, retain and develop diverse and highly motivated, entrepreneurial employees striving to flawlessly deliver superior value to our customers every day.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participates in continuous improvement events and routinely participates in 5S activities.</li>\n <li>Actively participates in shift relief (Tier 1 meeting).</li>\n <li>Operates complex equipment such as controls that regulate mix, feed, and flow of chemicals including responsibility for proper functioning of equipment in Apollo units.</li>\n <li>Observes data from controllers and recorders to make process changes and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment.</li>\n <li>Redirects or shuts off feeder lines during emergencies and alerts supervisor of action taken.</li>\n <li>Participates on process improvement teams.</li>\n <li>Makes scheduled routine inspections of operating areas to observe operating conditions and reports any irregularities.</li>\n <li>Creates work notifications on equipment needing repair in operating area.</li>\n <li>Collects and records operating data, runs variety of routine control checks during operations and makes appropriate operational changes.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Makes process changes as necessary to meet various operational requirements.</li>\n <li>Makes minor repairs to operating equipment as needed.</li>\n <li>Follows standard practices and procedures as established for plant operations.</li>\n <li>Modifies/Reviews operating procedures on an annual basis.</li>\n <li>Required member of emergency brigade.</li>\n <li>Potential OJT certification and training of new operators as required.</li>\n <li>Performs all necessary housekeeping duties in area.</li>\n <li>Hazardous waste sampling, hazardous waste packaging/loading duties, container marking and labeling, hazardous waste container handling and management, respond to chemical spills and releases, and conduct and document routine inspections</li>\n</ul>",
