Description
Assume overall responsibility of execution for company strategies and achieving financial targets. Lead operations and clinical services of Kroger Retail Pharmacies, Kroger Health Connect, and The Little Clinic (TLC). Provide support for all operations and clinical related functions, including labor management, clinical initiatives, efficiencies, waste, training, standards, facility maintenance and risk management. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an executive leader, directing Kroger Health teams on executing the Health & Wellness (H&W) strategy
- Develop, oversee, and drive implementation of Kroger Health clinical and operations initiatives across all Kroger Health assets
- Ensure financial and operational targets are achieved across retail pharmacy, the little clinic, and Kroger Health Connect
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams across all H&W lines of business
- Identify customer needs and develop solutions that align with H&W strategy
- Work cross-functionally to monitor and improve the utilization of Kroger Health products and services
- Oversee capital budget for Kroger Health and ensuring return on investment
- Serve as advisor to technology regarding Kroger Health needs to improve clinical and operational execution
- Establish and utilize performance metrics to ensure clinical programs and operational execution exceeds revenue and operational targets
- Oversee H&W procurement strategy and manage relationship with key vendors
- Manage ongoing initiatives to improve labor costs and expenses effectively and efficiently
- Collaborate to solve problems and improve processes to drive operational excellence
- Develop, monitor and evaluate standards and best practices
- Partner with Business Development, Contracting, and the Alternative Revenue team in evaluating acquisitions, contracts and partnerships
- Collaborate with senior leadership on delivering against H&W targets
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications
Minimum
- Doctorate Degree PharmD or other Medical Degree
- 5+ years experience successfully identifying, adopting and leading change initiatives
- Exceptional leadership and management skills and ability to motivate, develop, and inspire others to align to a strategy
- Demonstrated competency in developing and delivering innovative and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
- Ability to achieve and sustain positive working relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate/ collaborate with all organizational levels
- Proven ability to facilitate/translate strategic business requirements into strategic solutions
Desired
- Any experience with marketing/selling of clinical services
- Any managed care, health system, and/or specialty pharmacy experience
- Any H&W merchandiser experience
- Licensed healthcare professional
