    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>Research Assistant- CCR Work Study<br><br>Description  <br><br>The Dr. Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research is looking for dynamic and compassionate individuals to serve as research work study. The research work study may assist with general tasks required in most courses of inquiry as stated below. Other general tasks may be related to clerical and record-keeping for the overall project. A research work study is expected to contribute in many ways to the research project.<br><br>Responsibilities  <br><br>1.  Conduct literature reviews and assist with literature searches.<br>2.  Collect and analyze data.<br>3.  Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations.<br>4.  Willingness to learn statistical knowledge.<br>5.  Train set up and operate lab equipment.<br>6.  Request or acquire equipment or supplies necessary for the research study.<br>7.  Assist in running equipment and complete a study protocol. <br>8.  Assist with set up and breakdown of equipment. <br>9.  Interact with study participants.<br>10. Manage and respond to research study related email.<br>11. Extract, organize, and perform basic analysis of data. <br>12. Attend research study meetings.<br>13. Maintain confidentiality of all office proceedings.<br>14. Complete specialized training to ensure protection of private, sensitive information and individuals. <br>15. Timely submission of hours worked in ADP.<br>16. Provide HR and supervisor(s) with a Work Study award letter each quarter.<br>17. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by individual researchers.<br><br>Requirements<br> <br>1.  Must be a Life University student awarded work study funds <br>2.  Familiarity in the use of the Microsoft suite, particularly Word and Excel. <br>3.  Ability to develop and manipulate documents using Microsoft Office suite.<br>4.  Strong attention to detail.<br>5.  No history of academic probation.<br>6.  Previous experience or knowledge of literature searches is preferred.<br>7.  Ability to access and navigate the internet (using Outlook or Chrome).<br>8.  Ability to operate standard office equipment (photocopy, fax, scan and multi-line phone) and follow office procedures and protocol.<br>9.  Ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy and to complete projects on-time.<br>&nbsp;</p>\n</div></div>\n",
