The role involves regular verbal and electronic communication with R&amp;D, logistics, sales, vendors and customers to support the growth and productivity of the business.<br><br><strong>KEY SKILLS &amp; COMPETENCIES:</strong><ul><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Attention to detail in electronic and written work</li><li>Technical understanding of regulatory documentation and interpretation of vendor documentation and other sources of raw material regulatory data</li><li>Food and flavor labeling (including nutritional labeling, GMO/BE, etc.) and knowledge of GHS and HAZMAT classification for Transportation.</li><li>Basic knowledge of US food regulations that apply to ADM product portfolio and capable of interpretation of relevant regulations and certification schemes (Kosher, Halal, Organic, NGPV, etc.)</li><li>Ability to focus on priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines</li></ul><strong>DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED:</strong><ul><li>Communications with vendors for new or existing raw material data and documents for short and long term projects</li><li>Data maintenance including interpretation of vendor documents, and creation and maintenance of technical regulatory data in the company databases for ingredients.</li><li>Regulatory evaluation of the company’s ingredients for the intended industry (e.g. food, beverage, animal feed, dietary supplements)</li><li>Evaluate data changes and works cross-functionally with business partners on path forward</li><li>Coordinates across functions and is responsible for the creation, issuance and updating of product documentation, which includes specifications, ingredient and allergen statements, nutritional information, GMO-status reviews, organic compliance, Kosher, Halal, country compliance, country of origin, SDS and other Regulatory documentation provided to customers and technical personnel as needed.</li><li>Perform other duties and special assignments as required</li></ul><strong>KNOWLEDGE &amp; SKILLS:</strong><ul><li>BS Degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Food Science or other related field; and/or equivalent qualifications through STEM Associates degree and job experience</li><li>2-5 years of regulatory experience, preferably in food/beverage, flavor or related industries</li><li>Strong, independent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong computer skills: proficient in MS Office packages; trainable in other software programs (SAP, Sphera IA, Genesis, Open Text)</li><li>Proven interpersonal skills including ability to work well in a team environment, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills</li></ul><br>Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
