The role is critical to maximizing gold recovery, minimizing dilution, and ensuring compliance with the mine plan.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Key Areas of Responsibility &amp; Duties</span><span> </span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Grade Control &amp; Sampling</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Assist with grade control drilling programs (RC, blast hole, or auger drilling).</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Collect, label, and prepare drill </span><span>chip</span><span> and blast hole samples.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Conduct geological logging of samples, including lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structure.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Perform routine sample quality control procedures (duplicates, blanks, standards).</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Support ore/waste delineation and mark-up of dig lines.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Data Management &amp; Reporting</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Accurately record geological and sampling data in field logs and digital databases.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Upload and validate grade control data in geological software (e.g., </span><span>Surpac</span><span>, Datamine, Vulcan, or similar).</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly grade control reports.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Maintain sample tracking and chain-of-custody documentation.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Field Support &amp; Operations</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Liaise with mining, drilling, and blasting teams to ensure correct execution of grade control plans.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Assist with pit mapping and face sampling.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Mark ore blocks, boundaries, and stockpiles according to grade control plans.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Monitor mining activities to ensure compliance with geological boundaries and grade control instructions.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Health, Safety &amp; Environment (HSE)</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Comply with site safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Conduct work in accordance with safe work practices and hazard management plans.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Report safety hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Safety &amp; Sustainability Expectations </span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><span><span>Maintain a cooperative interest in the health and safety of yourself, your fellow workers and local communities.<span> </span></span><span>Wear PPEs at all times</span><span><span> </span>if in production environments.
