Machine Operators operate, set up, program, maintain, and troubleshoot presses, mills, and auto-forming machines in a fast-paced environment. Fisher Barton values our 3C&rsquo;s Culture, working every day to execute Customer Excellence, A Culture of Fairness, and Community Involvement.</p><p><strong>You will:</strong></p><ul><li>Adhere to Fisher Barton Safety and Quality procedures and regulations&nbsp;and business code of ethics</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Performs routine changeovers and troubleshooting</li><li>Utilizes forklift to efficiently manage material handling, optimizing workflow.</li><li>Lift and load parts</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Ability to read blueprints to ensure precise machine setup and adherence to quality standards.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, repairs, and adjustments.</li><li>Material Handling: Efficiently manage and move materials, including receiving, storing, and loading products</li><li>Insert blanks manually into press and perform either hot or cold form operations</li><li>Measure parts</li><li>Keep an accurate record of the quantity milled and formed</li><li>Inspect finished parts for Quality and Compliance</li><li>Package customer parts&nbsp;</li><li>Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of working areas&nbsp;</li><li>Set up for all equipment in required time, per the control plan specifications</li><li>Verify dimensions, type and characteristics of Raw Materials</li><li>Load Coil, Strip or Blanks</li><li>Set tension on Slack Loop</li><li>Adjust and operate forming press/straightener to produce parts in accordance with specifications</li><li>Set up milling machine</li><li>Perform manual mill operations</li><li>Replace milling heads</li><li>Remove and isolate Scrapped/Non-Conforming Parts</li><li>Perform operator maintenance (changeout lubricants) and housekeeping of working areas</li><li>Train Level 1 team members</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><em>The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.
