    "description": "<p><strong><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Position Summary/ Objective:</span></strong></p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Manager, the Housekeeping Inspector will be responsible for supervising the operation of the housekeeping staff promoting a safe environment and quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, protection of assets and minimal expenses. This position will ensure the cleanliness and condition of the hotel guest rooms and inspect guest rooms to ensure brand standards are met. Associate will work independently or in a team under little to no supervision. This position relies on good judgment to perform the functions of the job.</span></p>\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Primary Essential Functions:</span></strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">All associates are obligated to support and uphold the values, expectations, policies, and procedures of Grand Pacific Resorts as outlined in the Employee Handbook.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Supervise the housekeeping staff, providing open communication, training, coaching and counseling, and providing performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, SOPs and health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Issue assignments to staff reviewing special request and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Issue supplies/goods to staff at the beginning of shift in order to control inventory and expenses.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Performed daily audits to ensure GPR quality standards are consistently met.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Assist Executive Housekeeper in scheduling and purchasing of guest room and hotel supplies as necessary.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Supervise Housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness of glass doors and windows through the hotel.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Ensure cleanliness of all trash chute rooms by delegating daily assigned work to Housekeeping staff.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Maintain cleanliness of Vending /Ice room, hallways of resort and stairwells (vacuum/carpet exaction), hallway lamps (i.e. sconces and ceiling lamp), elevators, hallway telephone and furnish with supply.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Support Room Attendant by cleaning and stripping guest rooms.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Perform guest requests throughout the day ensuring open tickets and guest requests are completed/closed.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Ensure work area is clean when finished.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Responsible for being knowledgeable about hotel groups and events, and modifying staff accordingly.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Maintain a neat and clean professional appearance at all times.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Enforce resort safety standards.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by the Manager.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Responsible for conducting all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Adhere to performance standards, company policies and procedures, as they relate to the department.</span></li>\n</ul>",
