In this role, you will play a critical part in developing, optimizing, and automating workflows to advance our NGS capabilities. As an integral member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional groups to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and precision of our sequencing technologies. If you have a passion for automation, NGS, and cutting-edge technology, we invite you to contribute to our innovative and fast-paced environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and implement automated liquid handling systems for NGS assays</li><li>Translate and optimize manual processes onto automated platforms</li><li>Provide training and technical support for operations during deployment of new methods</li><li>Author and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and quality documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.</li><li>Maintain and manage instrument configuration documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ and SOP).</li><li>Complete quality documentation reports and ensure all regulatory and internal standards are met.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology or related field.</li><li>3+ years of laboratory automation engineering experience required.</li><li>Strong Experience in programming and developing automated systems for assay development on Hamilton using Venus Software, experience with scheduling software.</li><li>Familiarity with lab automation tools, instrumentation (e.g., Agilent, Bio-Rad, Thermofisher), and software (e.g., BIOlims).</li><li>Familiarity with barcoding, labware management, and traceability tools.</li><li>Experience in process development and scaling in a laboratory and/or manufacturing environment.</li><li>Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Facilities, and Operations teams.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to document technical processes clearly.</li><li>Experience with technology transfer and vendor management.</li><li>Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and configuration management.</li></ul><p><u>Benefits:</u><br>We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.</p><p>Employee benefits include comprehensive medical, dental and, vision, for eligible employees and their dependents.
