Grow Team </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif\">Scope of Position: </span><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif\">The Before and After School Teacher plans and implements developmentally appropriate activities for the children in their classroom on a weekly basis.<span>  </span>He or she is also responsible for maintaining a safe, nurturing and educational environment, while working cooperatively with parents and staff.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Time Commitment:  </span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Full Time/40 hours per week </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Split Shift: 6:30am-10:30am and 2pm-6pm Monday through Friday</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Classification:</span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\"> Hourly, non-exempt</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Typical Duties:<span>           </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Oversee the planning and implementation of appropriate activities for the children each week in science, math, art, language, music, religion, motor development and multi-cultural projects.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Incorporate worship, Bible stories, and scripture into the classroom</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Create a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Maintain discipline in the classroom while treating the children with kindness, dignity and respect (abiding by the Licensing Rules for Childcare Centers)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Set clear, fair and consistent limits for the children as outlined in the Parent Handbook</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Help the children with conflict resolution strategies through modeling skills and problem-solving skills</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Maintain appearance, décor and safe learning environment for the classroom</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Greet and engage in positive interactions with parents, children and other guests</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Take attendance daily, including meal sheets</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Communicate with families daily on the electronic app.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Supervise the class on the playground and in the gym.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; font-size: 12.0pt\"><span>·         </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Ensure that all state regulations are followed pertaining to the children and the classroom.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;
