This role is critical to keeping our operation running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, and able to balance planned maintenance and project work with urgent repair needs as they arise. If you&#39;re looking for a place where hard work is valued and your contributions make a real impact, we&#39;d love to talk with you.</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Perform DOT Inspections</li><li>Diagnose and repair trailer systems</li><li>Repair Brake, Suspension, air systems, lights, electrical issues and hydraulic issues</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment</li><li>Maintain equipment to standards set by Federal Motor Carrier &amp; DOT for motor vehicle inspections and safety standards.</li><li>You are happy to work a 2<sup>nd</sup> shift or 3<sup>rd</sup> shift schedule with some weekends.</li></ul><p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Strong experience with trailer repair and maintenance</li><li>Strong work ethic and attention to detail</li><li>Willing to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Has minimum tools for heavy trailer repair, list will be provided.</li><li>Frequently works in a crouched position or on back lying on mechanic&rsquo;s dolly beneath motor vehicle equipment; subjected to dust, dirt, and grease conditions</li><li>Work well on a team dedicated to proper fleet maintenance</li><li>Valid state driver&#39;s license</li><li>Class A CDL (preferred)</li></ul><p><strong>About the Team:</strong></p><p>At Kalmbach Trucking, we believe our Service Center Team is vital to the success of our business.
