    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div><p>We are seeking a highly skilled Aluminum Casting Supervisor to oversee and manage the evening operations of our aluminum casting team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in metal casting, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of aluminum alloy processes and quality standards. The Team Leader will ensure safe, efficient, high-quality aluminum casting production while supervising a team of skilled operators and technicians.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Be Responsible For:</strong></p><p>Supervise Casting Operations: Lead, motivate, and oversee the aluminum casting team in executing daily production schedules, ensuring operations meet quality standards, safety guidelines, and production goals.<br>Process Optimization: Monitor and improve casting processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, troubleshooting, and defect reduction.<br>Team Management: Assign tasks to team members, manage work schedules, and provide technical guidance. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.<br>Quality Control: Ensure all castings meet the required specifications and quality standards. Perform regular inspections and coordinate with the quality control team to address any defects or non-conformances.<br>Safety &amp; Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring that all team members are trained and compliant with workplace safety standards, including PPE use and equipment operation.<br>Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of casting equipment, furnaces, and molds to minimize downtime and optimize production. Coordinate with the maintenance team for routine checks and repairs.<br>Training &amp; Development: Provide ongoing training for new and existing team members, ensuring all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate casting equipment and follow safety procedures.<br>Production Monitoring: Track production metrics (e.g., yield, cycle time, downtime) and performance reports. Identify and resolve any production issues, ensuring minimal delays or interruptions.<br>Documentation &amp; Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production data, safety audits, maintenance logs, and quality checks. Prepare reports for management on production performance, team progress, and improvement initiatives.<br>Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics, to ensure seamless production workflow and timely product delivery.<br><br><strong>Key Attributes:</strong><br>- Strong attention to detail and precision.<br>- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.<br>- Ability to handle stressful situations and meet production deadlines.<br>- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.<br>- Proactive and hands-on leadership approach.<br>- Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in casting processes.<br><br><strong>Working Conditions:</strong><br>- This role may require shift work, weekends, and occasional overtime.<br>- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to high heat, heavy machinery, and loud noise.<br>- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times during production.<br>- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Need to Have:</strong><br>Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in aluminum casting or metalworking preferred, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.<br>Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of aluminum casting processes, including sand casting, die casting, permanent mold casting, and other relevant methods. Familiarity with various aluminum alloys and their properties.<br>Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing a team, with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and develop team members for optimal performance.<br>Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to identify and address production issues quickly and effectively.<br>Safety &amp; Compliance: In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards related to metal casting. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.<br>Quality Focus: Experience in quality control processes and the ability to inspect and ensure the quality of metal castings, including dimensional accuracy and surface finish.<br>Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy materials, work in a hot and noisy environment, and stand for extended periods. Comfort working with molten metals and high-temperature equipment.<br>Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
