Operate and monitor multifunction process control machinery and equipment to control the processing of paper and other cellulose materials in the production of pulp.</strong></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<em>:</em></strong></p><p><strong>o Minimum of 3 years industrial experience.</strong></p><p><strong>o Proof of formal training in specialty areas (i.e., Pneumatics, Hydraulics, mechanical, PLC&rsquo;s, Instrumentation, etc.)</strong></p><p><strong>o Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.</strong></p><p><strong><strong id=\"isPasted\">o&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>Must be able to pass Nocti exam.</strong></p><p><strong>GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p><strong>o Perform all work with adherence to safety and housekeeping procedures</strong></p><p><strong>o Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.</strong></p><p><strong>o Install industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools</strong></p><p><strong>o Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up and repair of machinery</strong></p><p><strong>o Adjust machinery to repair or replace defective parts</strong></p><p><strong>o Proficiency or ability to learn to operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintain or set-up machinery</strong></p><p><strong>o Proficiency or ability to learn to operate Mig and Tig welders, cutting torches, plasma cutters, metal brakes, metal sheers, and other such tools necessary to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintain or set-up machinery</strong></p><p><strong>o Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment</strong></p><p><strong>o Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.</strong></p><p><strong>o Work additional hours as necessary to maintain operations in emergency situations and through major planned shutdowns</strong></p><p><strong>o Perform all tasks assigned, participate in specific training programs determined by the needs of the company, and to keep skills current.</strong></p><p><strong>o Startup, shutdown, setup and adjust equipment as required</strong></p><p><strong>o Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions</strong></p><p><strong>o Train or assist in training new workers</strong></p><p><strong>o Maintain and complete records in our CMMS System.</strong></p><p><strong>o Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
