    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The <em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Red Seal</span></em> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Certified</em></span> Industrial Mechanic is required to perform skilled tasks in the service, repairing &amp; maintaining hydraulic systems &amp; equipment. They will have the ability to troubleshoot major and minor hydraulic problems in both a marine &amp; industrial environment, and a</span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> solid understanding of fluid power equipment is essential, this includes, but is not limited to, cylinders, marine steering systems, conveyor systems, cranes, winches, lifts, and forklifts. While work assignments may be provided through oral or written instructions, the successful candidate will be expected to assess the scope of repairs independently. Additional duties may be assigned as operational needs require.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Job Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Install, assemble, and maintain machinery and equipment according to specifications and blueprints.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of equipment to identify potential issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts, including bearings, motors, and belts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Align and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance and precision.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Collaborate with other maintenance staff and operators to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Assembling and installing machines then testing them to make sure they are working correctly</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Managing the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Identifying and repairing problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Dismantling older machines and replacing them with new ones</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Overseeing preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Using machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Skills</span>: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Competent at adhering to strict safety guidelines and cognizant of safety risks <br></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Mechanical aptitude in dealing with wrenches, hammers, forklifts, and other similar tools</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to solve machine issues</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Excellent mathematical skills and strong attention to detail</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Ability to be a team player due to constant interactions with similar employees, management and stakeholders such as Engineers, Plant Managers, and Part Vendors, amongst others. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Education and Training Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program in millwrighting/hydraulics or related field preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Trade and <em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Red Seal Certifications </span></em>such as the Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) (IM), Amusement Operators Safety Certificate (EPA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Fluid Power Master Technician (FPMT), is required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Proven experience as a millwright/hydraulics technician or in a similar maintenance role.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;
