    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>As a Senior Analyst - Inventory the majority of the job is focused on inventory analysis and/or execution of strategies and processes to ensure that inventory and service levels are optimized.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n <ul>\n  <li>3 years required, 5+ years preferred of supply chain and distribution industry, and knowledge of industry terminology, concepts, and metric.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n <ul>\n  <li>2 years required, 3+ years preferred of hands on report design, development and implementation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n <ul>\n  <li>2 years required, 3+ years preferred of hands on data mining, decision support, analytics, and Teradata SQL programming. SQL Server or other databases a plus.&nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensures execution of daily, weekly and monthly production reports, including validating report data, maintaining source codes, and making changes.</li>\n <li>Develops and executes on demand and ad-hoc reports, including modifying report parameters or source code based on specific needs, ability to explain report, and summarizing findings.</li>\n <li>Provides field support by answering questions on report logic or data, including ability to identify problems and recommend right tools and reports to meet specific needs and requests.</li>\n <li>Handles report design and development from gathering requirements to writing Teradata SQL, setting up Microsoft Access databases and writing macros in Excel.</li>\n <li>Gathers and reviews change requests, implements or coordinates implementation of approved changes.</li>\n <li>Works with other functional departments including data services and information systems to identify problems and enhancement opportunities to perform user acceptance testing and other required tasks</li>\n <li>Provides data to support purchasing and inventory related analysis to all levels of the organization, including applying quieries and data and writing and modifying complex SQL data retrieval to gather information.</li>\n <li>Translates business questions into quantitative measurable variables, analyzes large and complex data sets and presents findings in appropriate format for various audiences.</li>\n <li>Manages concurrent requests and meet deadlines.</li>\n <li>Validates and processes all field requests to handle one time demand/usage adjustments.</li>\n <li>Maintains approved parent/child relationships, and runs yearly audit of all parent/child settings.</li>\n <li>Administers in-house automated stock replenishment program (ASR), sets up and maintains branch operations and supplier lines, maintains integrity of quantity breaks and other setting/attributes.</li>\n <li>Supports in-house ASR program, answer field questions, validates and troubleshoots issues, and works with IT, purchasing teams and customer service to resolve problems and correct impact</li>\n <li>Handles functional support for purchasing and inventory tools and systems across all organizational levels. Answers questions, validates data, gathers information for IT and other departments</li>\n <li>Translates business questions into report or analytics requirements and finds solutions based on existing tools and repots, or proposes possible solutions and presents these to management.</li>\n <li>Handles all centralized maintenance tasks ranging from mass upload of inventory attributes to cost markup and markdown programs.</li>\n <li>Administers corporate level programs, including limits of purchasing authorities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<div style=\"margin-right:0px\">\n <ul>\n  <li>Bachelors’ Degree in&nbsp;Mathematics, Statistics,&nbsp;Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar quantitative discipline.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>APICS, CPFM, CPM preferred.</li>\n  <li>2 years required, 3+ years preferred of proven ability to use advanced functionality of Microsoft Access and Excel for data analysis and report formatting. Statistical software a plus.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of data extraction, data mining and statistical analysis.</li>\n  <li>SQL development skills, ability to write complex SQL queries. Familiarity with Teradata a plus.</li>\n  <li>Solid communication and support skills. Ability to explain complex concepts and analytics to non-technical audience.</li>\n  <li>Strong PC skills, extensive experience with advanced functionality in Microsoft Access (VBA coding) and Excel (macros, pivot tables, data lookups, etc.)</li>\n  <li>Attention to details, passion for problem-solving, creative thinking and comfort with ambiguity of requirements and expected results.</li>\n  <li>Ability to work independently, check your results, troubleshoot problems and exercise judgment.</li>\n  <li>Excellent multi-tasking skills, ability to prioritize and handle many projects at once with ever shifting priorities and deadlines.</li>\n  <li>Ability to follow established processes and schedule to deliver timely and consistent report execution.</li>\n  <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of distribution industry and supply chain, purchasing and inventory concepts, practices, and procedures.</li>\n </ul>\n <p>#LI-JD1</p>\n</div>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
