You&rsquo;ll lead the QA Floor Technicians and QA Micro Lab Technicians, manage audits and documentation, and drive continuous improvement across the QA function</p><p><strong>How will you contribute:</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li><strong>Team Leadership:</strong> Supervise and coach QA/QC Floor Technicians and QA Micro Lab Technicians, ensuring consistent performance and development.</li><li><strong>Quality Monitoring:</strong> Oversee in-process checks, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.</li><li><strong>Audits &amp; Inspections:</strong> Conduct GMP audits to verify compliance and drive corrective actions where needed.</li><li><strong>Documentation Management:</strong> Maintain all third-party and regulatory documentation, including SQF, Organic, and RFA, ensuring accuracy and readiness for audits.</li><li><strong>Issue Resolution:</strong> Investigate quality issues, collaborate cross-functionally to determine root causes, and implement CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).</li><li><strong>Equipment Oversight:</strong> Ensure calibration and maintenance of QA instruments for reliable results.</li><li><strong>Continuous Improvement:</strong> Champion process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance.</li><li><strong>Training &amp; Reporting:</strong> Provide QA training and prepare reports summarizing quality performance and key findings.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or related field.</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing setting, preferably food or beverage.</li><li>Prior supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Proficient in QA tools, data systems, and MS Office.</li><li>Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>May involve exposure to allergens such as Soy, Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Milk, Egg, Tree Nuts and Sesame.</li></ul><p><strong>What Vibrant Ingredients can offer you:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Generous time off for vacations</li><li>Paid Holidays</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Medical/Dental/Vision</li><li>Health &amp; Wellness programs</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>More about us:</strong></p><p>Vibrant Ingredients, headquartered in Lake Mary, FL, is one of the world&#39;s leading independent providers of natural ingredients.
