At E2, we value safety, innovation and collaboration, and we are dedicated to excellence.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Material QA/QC Specialist will be part of an inspection team that performs duties for inspecting line pipe, fittings, valves, or related components as it relates to the pipeline industry in a manufacturing environment or field environment. They will be responsible for performing visual inspection and taking dimensional inspection readings as well as recording them daily. Inspections by the specialist may be performed on bare or coated material. The Material QA/QC Specialist must be able to inspect pipe on OD and ID surface. They will need to be able to comprehend API, ASME, and ANSI Specifications, Client Specifications, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Manufacturing Procedure Specifications and be able to apply them to the material or product being inspected.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Visual, dimensional, and ovality inspection.</li>\n <li>Inspection of documentation, bill received, and validate quantities.</li>\n <li>Verification/validation of Material Test Reports (MTRs).</li>\n <li>Validate material against set company standards.</li>\n <li>Quarantine material which does not meet set criteria and issue NCR.</li>\n <li>Material traceability.</li>\n <li>Stenciling and marking.</li>\n <li>Preservation, packing and shipping.</li>\n <li>Daily reporting and production schedule monitoring.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years’ experience required in related field of piping, fittings, or valve components.</li>\n <li>Have fundamental knowledge of API 5L and ANSI related material.</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.</li>\n <li>Must possess a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid driver’s license.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Preferred one of the below:\n  <ul>\n   <li>AWS CWI</li>\n   <li>NACE/AMPP CIP Level 1</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Proficient with computers, portable electronic tablets, and supporting software including Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.</li>\n <li>Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc.</strong> offers an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off.</p>\n<h2>Wage Data Per State Requirements</h2>\n<p>The pay range for this position is $50/hr - $60/hr.
