    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Set up and operate jig grinding machines to grind precision holes, contours, and surfaces</li>\n <li>Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications</li>\n <li>Perform precision grinding operations to close tolerances and surface finish requirements</li>\n <li>Select and install grinding wheels, tooling, fixtures, and attachments</li>\n <li>Inspect finished parts using micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, optical comparators, and other precision measuring equipment</li>\n <li>Verify dimensions and maintain accurate inspection records</li>\n <li>Adjust machine settings, offsets, and feeds/speeds as needed</li>\n <li>Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot machining and quality issues</li>\n <li>Maintain safe and organized work areas</li>\n <li>Follow company quality standards and safety procedures</li>\n <li>Collaborate with machinists, toolmakers, engineers, and quality personnel</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED</li>\n <li>Experience operating jig grinding or precision grinding equipment</li>\n <li>Ability to read blueprints and understand geometric tolerancing (GD&amp;T)</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments</li>\n <li>Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Skills</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>CNC jig grinding experience</li>\n <li>Experience with Moore, Mitsui, or Hauser jig grinders</li>\n <li>Knowledge of precision tooling and fixture manufacturing</li>\n <li>Technical or vocational training in machining or manufacturing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work is performed in a manufacturing or machine shop environment</li>\n <li>Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, coolants, and lubricants</li>\n <li>Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe boots, and gloves</li>\n <li>Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift</li>\n <li>May require lifting materials, tooling, or parts up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Work may involve tight production deadlines and fast-paced operations</li>\n <li>Overtime, weekend, or shift work may be required based on production schedules</li>\n <li>Climate conditions may vary depending on facility capabilities and machine heat output</li>\n <li>Strict adherence to safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies is required</li>\n <li>Collaboration with machinists, programmers, engineers, maintenance personnel, and quality inspectors is expected</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand for extended periods</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and moving machinery</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Safety Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
