    "description_html": "<p><strong>Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp.</strong></p><p><strong>Minneapolis, MN</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position: Stacker - 1st Shift</strong></p><p><strong>Team: Lamination Team</strong></p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Primary Objective of Position:</strong></u></p><p>The Stacker role is responsible for assembling laminated subassemblies for stator winding, pole winding, exciter winding and rotor assembly.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Skills Matrix:</strong></u></p><p>The Stacker position is part of the Lamination Team skills Matrix. This position works as a team member utilizing and performing to the Lamination Team skills matrix, which outlines the comprehensive skills in the Lamination Team.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Major Areas of Accountability:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Assembles spider, field poles, armature cores and rotors, including stacking, shrink fitting, grinding, welding, filling, pressing and torqueing.</li><li>Sets up and operates various machining equipment to perform milling, drill, taping, cutting and precision grinding.</li><li>Sets up and operates hydraulic presses.</li><li>Stacks laminations, places followers, drives rivets, drives cage and damper bars, presses laminations.</li><li>Reads prints and routing information to determine sequence and method of manufacturing.</li><li>Uses fixtures as necessary.</li><li>Does charting, maintains inventories of shelf life materials in stacking area.</li><li>Works in other areas of the Lamination Team skills matrix, may work in press set up and operation.</li><li>Demonstrates a commitment to Continuous Improvement by identifying opportunities in day to day work.</li><li>Performs to ISO 9001 Quality Standards and abides to OSHA and EPA regulations.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</strong></u></p><ul><li>High School degree or equivalent (preferred) with 1 year of related manufacturing experience (preferred).</li><li>Ability to obtain basic welding certificate.</li><li>Ability to perform basic match such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals.</li><li>Ability to be certified in overhead crane, Jib crane and forklift operation.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Routinely lifts and moves objects up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Occasionally ascends/descends ladders and stairs.</li><li>Routinely works at heights or on platforms.</li><li>Occasionally positions self in various works spaces, including low, tight or confined spaces.</li><li>Occasionally remains in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time.</li><li>Routinely uses repetitive motions including the wrists, hands or fingers to operate machinery or tools.</li><li>Routinely moves from one work station to another to accomplish tasks.</li></ul><p><strong>Salary</strong></p><p>Based on experience and qualifications</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Pay Types</strong></p><p>Voluntary weekend overtime.</p><p>Saturday is paid at time and a half, Sundays are paid at double time!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Type</strong></p><p>Monday – Friday, 1st shift 7:00a.m. - 3:30 p.m.&nbsp;</p><p>Full-time (Union)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision Insurance eligible your 1st day on the job</li><li>401K with Match 1st of the month following hire</li><li>Quarterly Bonus Program payout potential</li><li>Company paid Holidays (13)</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) accrued</li><li>Company paid Short &amp; Long Term Disability</li><li>Company paid Life Insurance</li><li>Paid Birthday (use anytime throughout the year)</li><li>$6,000 annual Tuition Reimbursement program</li><li>Company provided tools</li><li>Uniforms (laundered), Safety Shoes &amp; Glasses</li><li>Secure, onsite free parking</li></ul>",
