          "text": "<p>Provides leadership and resources to the safety initiatives and audits as required, including support and<br>\ncommunication of all corporate safety goals.<br>\nResearches and analyzes data such as customer requirements, sales proposal, specifications, and manuals<br>\nto determine feasibility of design or application.<br>\nDesigns products or systems such as dampers, expansion joints, and mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic<br>\nsystems.<br>\nReviews customer requirements, sales proposal and performs calculations as required to prepare or check<br>\nexisting bills of materials for complex items required by the project.<br>\nPrepares technical packages to include in bid packages for outsourced equipment.<br>\nPerforms complex calculations and analysis to assure suitability of products for use.<br>\nCoordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering<br>\ndesign and test problems.<br>\nConfers with customers, vendors and project personnel to seek or provide technical advice and resolve<br>\nproblems while working in a professional and ethical manner.<br>\nOversees and monitors products during production &amp; final testing to ensure compliance with drawings,<br>\ncustomer requirements and design specifications.<br>\nAssists with fellow engineering/drafting personnel to ensure product and systems conform to design<br>\nstandards and customer specifications.<br>\nAssists in developing new products, designs and concepts for manufacturing and updating current<br>\nstandard drawing and procedures.Assists the applications (sales) engineering department with design and drawing support as needed.<br>\nUnderstand and practice current ISO 9000 standards which are applicable to this position.</p>",

          "text": "<p>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent. Five<br>\nto ten years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and<br>\nexperience.</p><p>Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thing to a wide range of intellectual and practical<br>\nproblems. Ability to understand and apply nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs,<br>\netc.,) related to advanced technical concepts. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete<br>\nvariables.<br>\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only<br>\nlimited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or<br>\ndiagram form.</p><p>Proficient with CAD (Draftsight (2D), Solidworks 3D preferred), word processing and spreadsheet<br>\nsoftware (Microsoft Word/Excel)<br>\nProficient with FEA software a plus<br>\nFamiliar with ERP software a plus<br>\nProficient in the design and analysis of complex thermal, mechanical and structural systems.<br>\nMay be required to travel globally for short periods of time.</p>",
