This role involves leadership responsibilities, including mentoring trainees and assistants. The Fire Alarm Technician is a key contributor to Classic Fire + Life Safety’s operations and growth.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Tasks &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Perform weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual inspections as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Conduct service work and repairs on fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and other equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Install and verify fire alarm system components.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Mentor and oversee assistants and trainees, facilitating knowledge transfer.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Participate in on-call rotations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Other duties as assigned.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">CFAA Registered Technician status.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the fire alarm industry as a fully licensed technician</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Excellent troubleshooting skills and a high level of electronic aptitude.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Ability to diagnose and repair fire alarm systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Strong organizational and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Customer-focused with the ability to empathize and provide exceptional service.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Proficient computer skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Clean driver’s abstract and valid G driver’s license.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">We thank all applicants who apply, but only those candidates who meet the above qualifications will be contacted for an interview.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary placement within the stated range is determined by evaluating the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, along with internal equity and prevailing market conditions.
