This is a great opportunity for an experienced Surveyor to work on exciting projects within the Geospatial industry. The ideal candidate will be a qualified chartered surveyor with 2 to 5 years’ previous experience within the Geomatics sector. The successful applicant will be based out of our Watford office. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Do</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adopt and contribute to the company’s surveying and laser scanning standards.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the digital engineering survey team and operations manager.</li>\n<li>Liaise with clients and all project stakeholders on projects as required.</li>\n<li>Deliver projects on time, within budget, to the required scope and ensure compliance with all Company Health and Safety (H&amp;S) standards.</li>\n<li>Ensure any H&amp;S nonconformities identified are rectified so to continue to meet the requirements of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.</li>\n<li>Provide feedback at appropriate site/management meetings.</li>\n<li>Support, train and advise junior staff.</li>\n<li>Train Assistant and Junior Surveyors as required.</li>\n<li>Any other duties as required by the business.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Bring</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a relevant degree qualification (Geomatics, Civil Engineering or similar) or at least 2 - 5 years of relevant experience.</li>\n<li>Be technically trained in all aspects of 3D laser scanning and measured surveying.</li>\n<li>2- 5 years’ experience of 3D laser Scanning on large projects; including site capture and pointcloud data processing.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of GPS, survey traversing and network adjustments.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of photogrammetry and meshing techniques.</li>\n<li>Experience of Mobile Mapping (desirable).</li>\n<li>Experience of working with the standard outputs and deliverables in Measured Building Surveys &amp; BIM.</li>\n<li>Chartered surveyor status or professional membership of surveying bodies (desirable at Senior Surveyor role).</li>\n<li>Possess a strong understanding of common industry practices.</li>\n<li>Possess a full clean British/UK driving license with flexibility to travel nationwide.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Attributes</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to analyse and innovate project workflows.</li>\n<li>Competence using the latest geomatic technology (hardware and software).</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li>\n<li>Possess strong organizational and time management skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to innovate and adapt to new technologies</li>\n<li>Good technical writing skills.</li>\n<li>Commercial awareness.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits You Will Love</span></span></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span>At Murphy Geospatial – A Woolpert Company, you’ll join a collaborative and innovative team where your expertise makes a real impact.
