Description

DevOps Automation Engineer Permanent Ko šice Syntax is a leading Managed Cloud Provider for Mission Critical Enterprise Applications and has been providing comprehensive technology solutions to businesses of all sizes since 1972. The Infrastructure Automation Developer is responsible for developing automation to deliver customer tenant environments in Public and Private clouds. Automation requirements include both infrastructure and application-level automation. The Infrastructure Automation Developer will use Industry standard orchestration and configuration management tooling for building and managing customer environments. The team currently utilizes a mix of Terraform, Ansible and Saltstack. Team members continuously push the boundaries of infrastructure and application automation. If an existing provisioning or configuration management module doesn’t exist, our team fires up their Python IDE and writes one! Responsibilities Deploys compute, network and storage infrastructure across private (VMWare/Ovirt) and public (AWS/Azure/OCI) clouds using Terraform and Ansible Manages OS and configuration state using Saltstack Builds multi cloud solutions on top of Saltstack based configuration management system including infrastructure discovery and auditing Extends open-source tooling by writing module extensions in Python Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
