Fathom&rsquo;s extensive certifications include ISO 9001:2015, ISO 9001:2015 Design, ISO 13485:2016, AS9100:2016, NIST 800-171 and ITAR.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Laminator Position Summary:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for assembling a product or components of a product and finishing the product through priming, lamination, gluing, sanding, trimming, glazing, and other processes. May perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them, rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Laminator Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Process work orders per customer requirements</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Finish parts by priming, laminating, gluing, sanding, trimming, glazing, and other post- production processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Set-up and clean work areas.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Properly mix materials per order requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work to a high-quality standard.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Safely operate and maintain spray and mixing equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Laminating using wet layup techniques</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare and maintain molds for laminating&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare materials for the laminating process, including cutting fiberglass and carbon fiber, mixing resins, and gel coats</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Apply gel coat and using HVLP paint gun or gel coat cup sprayers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with resins include Epoxy, Polyester and Vinylesters</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Remove parts from mold</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inspect Laminated parts for defects</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Trim and repair laminations as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain a clean and safe work environment</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Laminator Qualifications/Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">1 Year of relevant experience preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Laminating using wet fiberglass layup preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience preparing materials for laminating process (Cutting fiberglass, carbon fiberglass, and using polyester resins) preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Solid problem-solving skills/techniques.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong work ethic and high attention to detail</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to manage sensitive and confidential information.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High School Diploma or General Education (GED) required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience using Vacuum bagging and resin infusion&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience thermo forming plastic&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to read blueprints &ndash; Preferred&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of laminating, hand tools and other equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Fathom is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
