With major growth sectors such as renewable energy, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging, EPC is growing fast.</p><p><strong>What We Do:</strong></p><p>EPC is located in the center of a high-tech commercial park in Poway, CA to meet the demands of its rapidly growing customer base. &nbsp;We are focused on developing and manufacturing robust and reliable power conversion solutions to solve real-world customer problems, and doing it in a smaller, more powerful footprint than anything else available today. &nbsp;We enjoy what we do, and we encourage a creative, healthy, and highly collaborative environment. &nbsp;Our goal is to work together as a fun, creative, and professional team; learning from and encouraging one-another as we push the state of the art forward in power electronics</p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p>As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will perform various types of product packing and shipping in accordance with established procedures and/or commercial standards; receive and stock incoming equipment, materials, and supplies and prepare shipments. &nbsp;Candidates must be dependable, professional, adaptable, have good interpersonal skills and punctuality. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye to identify inventory issues, and logistical issues. Candidates must be able to obtain a Forklift Operator Certification within 90 days of employment. &nbsp;Candidates must also be able to work the second shift (11:00am - 8:00pm). &nbsp;You will be working with a diverse team of dedicated, creative and technical forces behind the design and development of new power conversion systems. &nbsp;By being a part of our team, you will help us take our ideas from conception to reality.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Operates the forklift to safely and efficiently transport materials</li><li>Processes all in and outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping</li><li>Audits each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order</li><li>Packs and labels product based on established standards</li><li>Ensures that proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are shipped with correct order</li><li>Prepares shipping and receiving documentation; maintains orderly files for all documentation</li><li>Processes all receiving transactions and paperwork</li><li>Inspects all incoming freight for damage; follows-up with Purchasing and inventory coordinator to resolve any damaged freight issues</li><li>Assists in maintaining material inventory levels</li><li>Assists in responses to requests for tracing of missing shipments</li><li>Assists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the shipping area</li><li>Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned by management</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Five years of experience driving a forklift in a fast paced environment</li><li>Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods</li><li>Familiarity with logistics processes and carrier handling methods</li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage priorities</li><li>Commitment to excellence and pay attention to detail</li><li>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills</li><li>Basic computer, math, oral and communication skills required</li><li>Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm</li><li>Ability to identify colors</li><li>Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination</li><li>Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions</li><li>Must be 18 years of age or older</li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity</li><li>Continually required to stand, walk, sit, lift, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl</li><li>Continually required to talk or hear</li><li>Continually required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds/ up to 60 pounds</li><li>Occasionally exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather)</li><li>Continually work near moving mechanical parts</li><li>Continually exposure to outside (Poway, CA) weather conditions</li><li>Occasionally exposed to loud noise</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental and vision insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance&nbsp;</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Shift 11:00AM - 8:00PM</p><p>Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div>\n",
