    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Package Pavement a manufacturer of QUIKRETE® and Spec Mix ® products in Ravena, NY is seeking an experienced electrician to join our Maintenance Department.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary Range: $30/hr - $35/hr</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Identifies electrical malfunctions, using test instruments.</li>\n <li>Inspects and troubleshoots machinery and equipment to determine cause of malfunction or extent of wear or damage.</li>\n <li>Performs repairs and maintains equipment as necessary.</li>\n <li>Tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency using standard test equipment.</li>\n <li>Installs fixtures, motors and other electrical equipment and makes adjustments.</li>\n <li>Inspects circuits and wiring for specified shielding and grounding and repairs or rewires systems according to code and safety regulations.</li>\n <li>Ability to understand ladder logic and PLC programming.</li>\n <li>Repairs mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electronic components of electrical equipment using standard tools and gauges.</li>\n <li>Plans layout and wires new installations.</li>\n <li>Required to follow all OSHA safety regulations per our safety program and all safety policies and procedures when performing repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.  </li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Education and/or Experience</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>High school diploma or equivalent</p>\n<p>Electrical trade school graduate or completion of electrician apprenticeship program a plus</p>\n<p>Two to five years’ experience working in industrial maintenance including pneumatics and hydraulics preferred</p>\n<p>Must have own tools</p>",
