In this role, you will design test plans, procedures, and code/scripts to accurately assess new products and updates in accordance with product requirements and department quality standards. If you're a technically sharp, collaborative testing professional who thrives on driving quality at scale and mentoring the next generation of engineers, this role is for you.</p>\n<h2>Technology Tools</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Test Automation & Continuous Integration Tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Jenkins or Equivalent)</li>\n <li>Source Control Systems (e.g., Git or Equivalent)</li>\n <li>Scripting & Programming Languages (e.g., Python, Java, Bash or Equivalent)</li>\n <li>Database Technology (e.g., SQL or Equivalent)</li>\n <li>Windows & Linux Platforms</li>\n <li>Agile Frameworks & Project Management Tools</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests and automated test frameworks across teams to ensure the holistic quality of the software.</li>\n <li>Lead and maintain the implementation of the delivery pipeline, including test automation, frameworks, build environments, test environments, and security.</li>\n <li>Lead the verification of system functionality by executing complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and providing recommendations; create and manage performance metrics, defects/enhancements, test cases, and test results within a team.</li>\n <li>Analyze and report test results and monitor trends over time; operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends, providing consulting services leveraging expertise and best practice knowledge, and identifying and implementing better test tools and automation methodology.</li>\n <li>Complete complex peer code reviews for test automation code and incorporate feedback into automated tests; influence and lead standards and processes of the team, including planning, work estimation, peer reviews, and test design.</li>\n <li>Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; assess the business value and broader impact of software changes when designing automated tests and contribute to the prioritization of the team backlog.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Role Essentials — What You Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience, with experience across all phases of the test lifecycle and in software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworks.</li>\n <li>Significant experience with test design, test automation, continuous integration tools, source control systems, and build environments and delivery pipelines, with experience on Windows/Linux platforms.</li>\n <li>Significant experience with multiple scripting tools and programming languages, with experience in database technology, Agile frameworks, and demonstrated experience with regression testing.</li>\n <li>Strong oral and written communication skills that reflect a professional demeanor, with strong collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and good leadership, sound judgment, and business acumen.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion independently, with strong attention to detail, a driven approach to staying current professionally, and up to 5% travel time required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We'd Like to See — Preferred Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining complex integration, functional, and non-functional automated test frameworks across multiple teams, with a track record of improving software quality holistically.</li>\n <li>Experience leading the implementation of delivery pipelines, including test automation frameworks, build environments, test environments, and security integration.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to analyze and report test results, monitor trends over time, and provide actionable guidance to teams for continuous improvement.</li>\n <li>Experience completing complex peer code reviews for test automation code, with the ability to influence and lead team standards and processes across planning, work estimation, and test design.</li>\n <li>Strong mentoring and coaching skills with experience providing feedback to team members and leadership on technical capabilities, with the ability to assess business value and broader impact of software changes.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Hyland</h2>\n<p>Hyland is the pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud™, delivering ubiquitous enterprise intelligence to organizations with solutions that unlock actionable insights and drive automation.</p>\n<p>Trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide, including many of the Fortune 100, Hyland's solutions create the foundation for a connected, agentic enterprise, where teams harness the power of AI to redefine how they operate and engage with those they serve.
