          "text": "<p>Versant Media is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PEP (Part-Time) Technical Director to join the CNBC broadcast production team. This position is responsible for the preparation of show effects and transitions, as well as the operation of a production switcher to deliver a complete, multi-layered live program incorporating video sources and graphical elements.</p><p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, sound editorial judgment, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure live broadcast environment.</p><p>---</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>· Execute the switching of live, fast-paced, news-oriented programming in accordance with Director instructions</p><p>· Prepare, route, and manage video and audio signal paths</p><p>· Build, program, and execute switcher effects and transitions</p><p>· Collaborate with production teams to support studio and control room operational needs</p><p>· Serve as Crew Chief, as assigned</p><p>· Test, troubleshoot, and prepare broadcast systems and equipment prior to air</p><p>· Partner with Operations Management and Engineering to ensure all technical systems meet operational standards and client expectations</p><p>· Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies, procedures, and broadcast standards</p>",
