We have been recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as an A+ Employer.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client service team in our accounting services department.  As a Senior Accountant, you will immediately begin building and managing relationships with clients.  You will have direct contact with clients on a regular basis. Same-day travel for work at the client's office, meetings, or seminars is required at times.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Qualifications: </span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting required</li>\n<li>5+ years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience required, preferably in public accounting or a Client Accounting Services (CAS) environment</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles</li>\n<li>Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously preferred</li>\n<li>Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required; QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred</li>\n<li>General tax knowledge related to small business sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax preferred</li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online required</li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required</li>\n<li>Experience with accounting software and automation platforms such as Bill.com, Saasant, Ramp, and similar tools preferred</li>\n<li>Strong leadership, customer service, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills</li>\n<li>Ability to interact effectively with all levels inside and outside the organization</li>\n<li>Proven ability to take initiative, anticipate challenges, develop solutions, exercise sound judgment, prioritize tasks, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment</li>\n<li>Relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting required</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting</li>\n<li>Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously preferred</li>\n<li>Relevant work experience such as 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or CAS environment</li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel</li>\n<li>Experience with accounting software platforms such as Bill.com, Saasant, Ramp, etc. preferred.</li>\n<li>Robust skillset as it relates to: Leadership, customer service, verbal and written communication, organization, etc.</li>\n<li>Ability to: interact with all levels inside and outside the organization, take initiative, anticipate problems, and formulate resolutions, exercise good judgment/decision making, prioritize and multitask, work independently, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is based out of our Sacramento office.  A hybrid work schedule is offered after the training period, with three days in the office and potentially two days remote; however, this is dependent upon client service needs. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span> Gilbert CPA provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K with company match, paid life insurance and long-term disability, generous paid time off, and approximately 10 days paid holiday.
