Our wide experience in meeting industrial plant maintenance needs enables us to implement systems and processes that keep your facilities and equipment running at consistently optimum levels.</p>\n<p><strong>Job Titles:</strong> PPM Safety Supervisor</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>MOR PPM Inc. is seeking Safety supervisors all across the southeast.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the health and safety of the workers, but also of the jobsite, environment and general public.</li>\n <li>Inspect the jobsites and identify potential hazards, assess the risks and report potential hazards and take appropriate action.</li>\n <li>Inspire a job site culture of preventable incidents and advise leadership of possible risks.</li>\n <li>Investigate incidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and coaching to field employees.</li>\n <li>Effectively communicate and collaborate with manager to ensure safety strategies and programs align with corporate expectations and policies.</li>\n <li>Assist in the response and correction of significant safety events, such as serious injury or illness, fatalities, regulatory action, etc.</li>\n <li>Proactively recommend changes to protect workers and educate employees on how to prevent health problems through the use of safety training programs.</li>\n <li>Collect and validate safety records and complete safety audits.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>OSHA 500/510 Certified</li>\n <li>CPR/First Aid Certified</li>\n <li>Must have a thorough knowledge of industrial safety and OSHA rules and application.</li>\n <li>Must understand OSHA requirements and be able to review work packages such that unsafe practices or situations can be discovered prior to work execution.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Five years' experience in safety coordination work related to operating fossil power generating facility maintenance and/or modification activities.</li>\n <li>Ten years' total experience associated with safety activities in power plant maintenance or construction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign</li>\n <li>May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above</li>\n <li>Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas</li>\n <li>Must have full range of motion consistent with age</li>\n <li>Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders</li>\n <li>Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises</li>\n <li>Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces</li>\n <li>Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#PPM</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
