We help modernize U.S. military installations, Department of Defense and other federal agency facilities to be smarter, more resilient, efficient, sustainable, and secure.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Location: </span>York, PA<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Pay: </span>Exempt<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Benefits:</span> Eligible for benefits on first day of employment<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Vacation:</span> 3 weeks of paid vacation per calendar year<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bonus:</span> Eligible</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Production Planner</span> you will:<br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be responsible for production planning, scheduling, and production control of a product line</li>\n<li>Develops and implements capacity requirements planning models and headcount reports for daily management of product line production operations.</li>\n<li>Develops and issues weekly product line master production schedules for subassembly and final assembly operations to achieve schedule and customer order on-time delivery objectives.</li>\n<li>Responsible for integration of product line subassembly requirements within the master production schedule and daily run schedules for each subassembly department.</li>\n<li>Serves as product line facilitator interacting with production supervision to achieve schedule objectives.</li>\n<li>Holds product line production status meetings, as required.</li>\n<li>Develops and issues manufacturing orders in accordance with master production schedules for subassembly and final assembly operations.</li>\n<li>Identifies and resolves issues impacting production planning and schedule attainment objectives.</li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring ERP system transactions are completed daily on a perpetual basis for production control and inventory control.</li>\n<li>Maintains KPI metrics reports for planned vs. actual schedule attainment, schedule adherence, downtime, on time shipment, and headcount for the product line.</li>\n<li>Performs additional duties, as assigned.<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications:<br><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related discipline preferred</li>\n<li>3+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment</li>\n<li>Experience with ERP software</li>\n<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office applications</li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li>\n<li>Effective communication (written &amp; oral) skills <br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications:<br><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>APICS Certification preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who We Are<br></span>At Johnson Controls (NYSE:JCI), we are One Team working collaboratively to create purposeful solutions that make a difference in the world.
