    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.13.17/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.13.17/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Opal Foods is hiring for the position of&nbsp;</strong><strong>SQF Practitioner for our Litchfield, MN location</strong>.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Job Description:</strong> The SQF Practitioner reports directly to the Quality Manager and works closely with the processing site management to ensure the continuous integrity of the SQF and HACCP programs. The SQF Practitioner works proactively with staff from all departments and levels to ensure a safe, quality product is produced. This position works directly with the Quality Control Technicians and will perform the duties of the QC role regularly. This position requires working some weekends.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Understand, Implement, verify, and validate the site SQF program.</li><li>Review and verify documentation and compliance materials ensuring that the program requirements are met.</li><li>Perform GMP inspections and lead the internal audits of the program, identifying improvement/risk areas.</li><li>Perform all regular job duties of the Quality Control Technician as required.</li><li>Perform supplier audits as required.</li><li>Facilitate timely, corrective, and preventative actions including but not limited to daily non-conformities/deviations, internal and external audit findings, and complaints.</li><li>Assist Plant Manager in identifying areas of quality and food safety improvement.</li><li>Maintain expert knowledge and skills in egg grading quality.</li><li>Work with QC Techs on egg quality sampling procedures and protocols.</li><li>Train and coach all Processing personnel on overall quality and SQF requirements and expectations.</li><li>Help with regular processing duties of the facility as needed.</li><li>Assist plant management with creating a positive food safety and quality culture at the plant level.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements (Skills and Abilities):</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Strong math, English and comprehension skills.</li><li>Strong computer skills &ndash; Word, Excel, etc.</li><li>Strong soft skills &ndash; communication, leadership, etc.</li><li>SQF, HACCP, and Internal Auditor certifications; Willing to train and provide these certifications.</li><li>Ability and willingness to work hands on.</li></ul><p><strong>About Opal Foods:</strong> Opal Foods was formed in 2014 and is a partnership between Rose Acre Farms and Weaver Brothers.
