Wooden Pin is looking for a Baker to join the team. This is a full-time, seasonal position!
About the Position: In the Baker role, you will be responsible for producing cakes, desserts and all associated prep recipes, under the supervision of our Executive Pastry Chef. This is a full-time, seasonal position!
About You : You are passionate about baking and pastry. You have a strong attention to detail, great organizational skills, and a positive attitude.
Essential Duties:
Properly scales, mixes, and bakes, as specified by the chef
Maintains a clean and organized work environment at all times
Upholds all organizational and sanitation guidelines
Maintains quality and consistency in all baked goods
Writes daily production list, as needed
Works collaboratively with all bakery team members to fulfill production levels
Assists in the packing and labeling of out-bound orders as needed
Assists in monthly inventory of ingredients and prepped products
Participates in seasonal recipe development as outlined by the chef
Compensation and Benefits:

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
Two years culinary education or two years baking experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills
Highly organized, with great attention to detail
Outstanding baking abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Be collaborative, using a team approach to create an equitable workplace environment, and have respectful working relationships
