They possess strong technical skills in electrical (high and low voltage), electronic, automation systems, along with advanced problem-solving and communication abilities.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibility &amp; Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial controls and automation equipment and associated components like sensors, actuators, and HMIs</li><li>Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic, and automation system faults, including PLC hardware, software and communications networks.&nbsp;</li><li>Conducting routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on PLCs and related equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Modifying and optimizing PLC programs and controls strategies to improve process efficiency, productivity, and safety.</li><li>Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of PLC programs, systems configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and maintenance activities.</li><li>Ability to take ownership of projects; responsive and flexible to all project requests and reacts to any adjustments promptly and efficiently, effectively prioritizing needs and tasks.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong analytical and technical aptitude.</li><li>Ability to connect PLC with software and navigate software independently as well as collaboratively within a team.</li><li>Install, troubleshoot, and maintain all manners of electrical components (high and low voltage).</li><li>Ability to use computer systems to perform diagnostics on electrical components and PLC system.</li><li>Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures</li><li>Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Understanding of industrial electrical systems</li><li>Familiarity with electrical schematics</li><li>5 years&rsquo; experience preferred</li><li>PLC programming (writing/troubleshooting)&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with Mitsubishi required</li><li>PLC communication/integration (HMI/Servo)</li><li>PLC robot control (Yaskawa) preferred</li><li>Set electrical drawings</li><li>Electronic control and repair</li><li>Process improvement projects</li><li>Knowledge of E&amp;I (Electrical &amp; Instrumentation) systems&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent command of written and spoken English</li><li>Knowledge of various machine operations and production roles</li><li>Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted on occasion</li><li>Analytical thinking</li><li>Communication</li><li>Knowledge of control programs</li><li>Experience as Controls Tech/Engineer desired</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Travel:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>No travel&nbsp;required</li></ul><p> &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Medical&nbsp;</li><li>Dental&nbsp;</li><li>Vision&nbsp;</li><li>401 (k)&nbsp;</li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance&nbsp;</li><li>Paid time off&nbsp;</li><li>10 Holidays&nbsp;</li></ul><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p><em>Hankook &amp; Company is an equal opportunity employer.
