Join our team and work in a challenging and exciting metal industry.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Rate is $35.33 an hour with a 12-hour 2-2-3 rotating work schedule from 6a-6p or 6p-6a. Uniforms, prescription safety glasses and boots are provided.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>$1,300 Retention Bonus and Quarterly perfect attendance bonus.  </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a talented heavy <strong>equipment mechanic</strong> to keep our plant running smoothly and efficiently.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>As our new Mobile Equipment Mechanic, you will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul a variety of equipment.</li>\n <li>Use your experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to maintain our loaders, forklift trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and man lifts.</li>\n <li>Ensure all safeguards of equipment are installed as needed to conform to governmental regulations.</li>\n <li>Maintain safe and environmentally sound behavior and ensure that proper work procedures and practices are followed.</li>\n <li>Comply with all safety standards and regulations driven by our SAFE culture</li>\n <li>Read and comprehend operation and parts manuals</li>\n <li>Must be able to work from elevated levels, operating mobile equipment, pneumatic and electrical hand tools / jacks.</li>\n <li>Accurately recording hours and components for each task</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*Full job description available to those with expressed mutual interest.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to follow instructions and understand diagnostic tools</li>\n <li>Reliability of attendance</li>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent GED</li>\n <li>Read and comprehend operation and parts manuals</li>\n <li>Prior heavy equipment maintenance experience required</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50 lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> </h2>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
