This job requires a person who remains professional, organized, detail and task oriented, as well as precise, thorough, and collaborative.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, configure, and maintain a wide range of security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and other security technologies.</li><li>Proficiently run and terminate low-voltage cabling, ensuring that all installations adhere to industry standards and best practices.</li><li>&#xa0;Integrate and troubleshoot various security system components to ensure they function as a cohesive unit, offering clients a comprehensive security solution.</li><li>Configure and program security equipment, such as cameras, access control panels, and alarms, according to project specifications and customer requirements.</li><li>&#xa0;Perform system tests and inspections to ensure the installed systems operate efficiently and meet quality standards.</li><li>&#xa0;Maintain accurate and detailed records of all installation activities, including wiring diagrams, configuration settings, and project documentation.</li><li>Provide training and technical support to clients on system operation and functionality, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.</li><li>Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards during installation projects to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve technical issues with security systems, ensuring minimal disruption to clients'&#xa0;operations.</li><li>Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate and execute installation projects within specified timelines and budgets.</li><li>Other duties assigned within reason of current role previously specified.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics or related field is preferred.</li><li>Lenel OnGuard Certification is required.</li><li>5+ years proven experience in the installation and maintenance of security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.</li><li>Ability to program Lenel and Milestone systems is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of low-voltage cabling, wiring, and termination techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with security equipment and software, including various hardware brands and manufacturers.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li><li>Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.</li><li>Security Clearances: This position&#xa0;requires a Secret security clearance. The clearance requirements are determined by the agency(s) in which you are assigned. Convergint Federal will sponsor the level of clearance required.
