Together, we are EXP.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Are you ready to design your future?</p><p>Be our next <strong>Senior Project Architect</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your work environment at EXP</strong></p><p>In this role, you will be a part of the&nbsp;<strong>Aviation, Transit and Commercial Buildings</strong>&nbsp;team, of the&nbsp;<strong>Buildings Sector</strong>, based in<strong>&nbsp;Chicago, IL</strong></p><p>A Senior Project Architect represents the Firm’s interests through effective project leadership and actions that advance the Firm’s mission and business interests. &nbsp;The Senior Project Architect speaks for the Firm and conducts him/herself in a manner commensurate with a position of leadership and mentoring within the Firm. Your responsibilities include:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and coordinate the technical development of projects working under Project Managers and Principals from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents and Construction Phase. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to coordinate with a multi-discipline team of architects and engineers, both in-house staff and outside subconsultants, ensuring the project is detailed and executed to maintain the design concept with technical astuteness and within the project budget.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Develop presentation documents and participate in presentations to clients</li><li>Develop design concepts under the leadership of the Principal Designer</li><li>Participate in design phase activities by providing expertise in detail development</li><li>Develop construction drawings and specifications for all project phases</li><li>Ensure that designs meet applicable building code requirements</li><li>Assist with all corresponding bid and construction phase activities in the office and in the field</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What your experience looks like</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture required from an accredited University</li><li>Architectural license required</li><li>LEED AP a plus</li><li>Detailed knowledge of architectural and engineering practice with emphasis on design, design development, preparation of construction documents, preparation of specifications, building materials, construction costs, and building codes</li><li>Must be proficient with AutoCAD &amp; Revit&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role</li></ul><p><strong>The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.</strong></p><p><strong>In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time employees, including health insurance, vacation time, and 401(k) retirement benefits.</strong></p>",
