    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Preferred Candidate: &nbsp;Two years ICU/ED experience, vascular access/ultrasound guided IV experience and TNCC Certification.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Clinical Resource Nurse Coordinator demonstrates clinical leadership to improve patient care and nursing practice across the continuum. Serves as a resource to assist with clinical outcomes and quality improvement initiatives. Serves as Apache coordinator for organization. Serves as vascular access team member to obtain difficult IV access for inpatients.</p><p><br><strong>Essential Duties / Responsibilities</strong><br>• Responsible for own practice within legal, ethical, and professional boundaries<br>• Maintains current license<br>• Maintains expertise in the area, maintains proficiency in rapid assessment and management of deteriorating patients while collaborating with the care team<br>• Successful completion of probation and annual skills/competency requirements<br>• Serves as a role model by demonstrating positive team-based behaviors and enthusiasm<br>• Shows commitment to personal professional growth through the pursuit of advanced knowledge and skills<br>• Regular and timely attendance is required for this position<br>• Performance of duties will be in compliance with all laws and regulations governing healthcare organizations<br>• Performs patient care service as delegated<br>• Serves as critical care coordinator in the delivery of patient care services<br>• Participates in care coordination activities<br>• Serves as a collaborator of communicating with the health care team to achieve patient care and service goals<br>• Serves as a resource for client, patient, staff, family, and community<br>• Serves as an educator in formal and informal settings for the health care team and clients<br>• Is a role model exhibiting practice behaviors which encourage staff self-development<br>• Role model with effective communication skills and conflict management<br>• Acts as a resource and support for staff in developing conflict management, delegation, communication skills, and accepting accountability<br>• Identifies staff educational needs and implements plans as developed<br>• Coaches team members in accountability and leads team toward improvement<br>• Translates research findings and practice standards into routine clinical practice through care, delivery, and policy development<br>• Participates as a member of the team to achieve business goals, clinical quality outcomes, and customer satisfaction<br>• Serves as a consultant and participant for practice issues and quality improvement activities<br>• Serves as a change agent for practice issues through involvement in committees or councils and in the clinical setting<br>• On-going identification of best practice issues and implementation of appropriate changes<br>• Communicates operational issues clearly and effectively within the team and outside the team as appropriate<br>• Safeguards confidential information<br>• Provides assistance to team members as requested or necessary<br>• Participates on committees/councils as requested/required<br>• Assists with data collection and coordination of databases utilized in the service area and reports metrics to appropriate quality care committees<br>• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested<br>• Contributes to the daily operation of the division/department by performing other roles, as needed</p><p><strong>Required Education: </strong>Associate degree- graduate from an accredited, state approved, school of nursing</p><p><strong>Required Licensure: </strong>Current Ms. RN license</p><p><strong>Required Experience:</strong> 2 (two) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting</p>",
