This role is designed for a market-facing leader and practice builder with a strong track record in smart corridors, traffic operations, digital infrastructure, and innovative design.</p><p><strong>Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Lead growth of GHD’s ITS and Transportation Technology practice in the Southeast</li><li>Develop and execute regional business development strategies</li><li>Cultivate relationships with GDOT, City of Atlanta, ARC, and regional agencies</li><li>Win and deliver ITS, TSMO, and smart mobility projects</li><li>Provide technical leadership in connected corridor analytics, and traffic operations</li><li>Build and mentor high-performing teams</li><li>Collaborate with national leadership and technology partners</li><li>ITS master planning and system architecture</li><li>Traffic operations and signal systems</li><li>Connected and automated vehicle (CAV) initiatives</li><li>Smart corridors and digital infrastructure</li><li>Freight and logistics mobility analytics</li><li>Data-driven safety and performance analysis</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you will bring to the team:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or related field</li><li>15+ years of experience in transportation engineering / ITS</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) required; PTOE preferred</li><li>Strong GDOT / Southeast client relationships</li><li>Proven ability to win work and lead complex projects</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why GHD?</strong></p><p>GHD offers a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with strong investment in digital transportation and innovation.
