Position Title: Student Assistant
Reports To: Dr. Rachel Jacoby
Department: Counseling
Status (Hours per week): 8-10 hours
Start and end dates: January 3, 2026 - June 12, 2026
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Attending classes agreed upon with Dr. Jacoby (courses vary by quarter) Helping with grading Help moderate the classroom environment and make online learning more engaging Facilitating group discussions Managing Canvas Holding office hours Helping with creating/presenting didactics and guest lectures, if interested Making course materials accessible Support proctoring exams Creating Assignments Support needs of research projects Requirements:
Need to be a current PAU student. Must have taken courses that match what the faculty is teaching or similar classes
