To learn more about our innovative school visit our website</span><a href=\"http://www.yumingschool.org/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">www.yumingschool.org</span></a><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Facilities Maintenance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Inspects buildings and grounds at regular intervals</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Performs regular custodial work as needed</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintains storage area for equipment, materials, and supplies</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Carries out the directions of Office Manager and Head of School Operations</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Sweeps floors and messes, cleans and dusts walls, furniture, and other equipment</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collects trash; empties and cleans waste containers</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Cleans spills and responds to other facilities needs during the school day</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Moves or rearranges chairs, tables, desks, furniture and other equipment as needed</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manages the inventory of cleaning supplies and informs the Office Manager when supplies are running low</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Disposes trash every day in all classrooms, office rooms, cafeteria, and courtyard</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Operates the locking of the dumpsters according to supervisor’s instruction</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Transport and coverage on other campuses as needed</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform other job-related duties as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Student Supervision</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain the safety and security of the students and campus, foster a safe school culture and model/promote positive behaviors by providing high visibility and interaction throughout the school</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Monitor students during lunch and recess inside and outside of buildings</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assist with meal time duties, including lunch support and distribution</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold\">Required</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of experience working comparable to that of a custodian</span></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency in English </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">TIME COMMITMENT</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Position is a 12-month position with certain holiday days/weeks off throughout the year. Students are present for the 180-day school year.
