    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>p{margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:1pt;}p.Heading1{margin-top:20.0pt;margin-bottom:6.0pt;}span.Heading1{font-size:20.0pt;}p.Heading2{margin-top:18.0pt;margin-bottom:6.0pt;}span.Heading2{font-size:16.0pt;}p.Heading3{margin-top:16.0pt;margin-bottom:4.0pt;}span.Heading3{font-size:14.0pt;color:#434343;}p.Heading4{margin-top:14.0pt;margin-bottom:4.0pt;}span.Heading4{font-size:12.0pt;color:#666666;}p.Heading5{margin-top:12.0pt;margin-bottom:4.0pt;}span.Heading5{color:#666666;}p.Heading6{margin-top:12.0pt;margin-bottom:4.0pt;}span.Heading6{font-style:italic;color:#666666;}p.Title{margin-bottom:3.0pt;}span.Title{font-size:26.0pt;}p.Subtitle{margin-bottom:16.0pt;}span.Subtitle{font-size:15.0pt;color:#666666;}p.ListParagraph{text-align:left;text-indent:36.0pt;}</p>\n<div style=\"margin:72pt\">\n <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n <p>• Preparing and managing Requests for Proposals/Quotes and coordinating the proposal and selection process including driving implementation of MSA/Contracts.</p>\n <p>• Managing assigned suppliers/commodities on an on-going basis to ensure that the businesses needs for cost, delivery and quality are met.</p>\n <p>• Identifying, negotiating with, selecting, contracting and managing the performance of suppliers for designated commodities or areas of spend.</p>\n <p>• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for project delivery methods, costs and quality.</p>\n <p>• Team up with engineering and quality to develop second source options where single source positions exposes the supply line to the company</p>\n <p>• Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their needs and consulting with them to build quality procurement strategies aligned to business requirements.</p>\n <p>• Managing and developing strong relationships with key suppliers, dealing with any potential issues and concerns, and attending regular meetings to ensure open communication.</p>\n <p>• Develop and drive strategic goals while also completing tactical, working level tasks as required.</p>\n <p>• Support NPI process with vendor evaluation and site selection</p>\n <p>• Encourages and coordinates early supplier involvement in new products parts design using the suppliers’ expertise to optimize quality and manufacturability</p>\n <p>• Plan, organize and execute Quarterly Business Reviews</p>\n <p>• Provide procurement support for other strategic cross functional projects</p>\n <p>• Ensuring that suppliers operate in full compliance with Mattson policies for supplier conduct on Social Environmental responsibility, Health and Safety policies.</p>\n <p>• Other duties as assigned</p>\n <p>&nbsp;</p>\n <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n <p>• At least 7 years of working in the Semiconductor Equipment Industry</p>\n <p>• Experience with working with global suppliers</p>\n <p>• 5+ years of direct experience in commodity management</p>\n <p>• Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, very dynamic environment with a self- starter approach.</p>\n <p>• Ability to segment and profile supply base to meet cost reduction objectives</p>\n <p>• Proven success working on cross-functional projects, completing cost models, and negotiating.</p>\n <p>• Ability to data mine and consolidate results to develop consumption trends, and future usage to generate risk buys, buffer inventories or risk buy recommendations</p>\n <p>• Proven record in supply base consolidation through the usage of spend aggregation to optimize source usage</p>\n <p>• Ability to quickly learn the nuances of new commodity or areas of spend e.g.</p>\n <p>• A quick learner and team player, exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p>\n</div>",
