    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Bruck Drivers are responsible for transporting, loading and unloading freight in a productive, safe and claims-free manner between our Service Centers and our customers.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform pre and post trip inspections on the tractor and trailer that is being utilized</li>\n <li>Properly document all freight control processes</li>\n <li>Read and understand maps, road signs, shipping papers, hazardous materials markings and labeling identifications</li>\n <li>Affix correct placards to tractor/trailer when necessary</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle</li>\n <li>Assist customers in preparation of shipping papers</li>\n <li>Interact and converse with external/internal customers</li>\n <li>Participate in Dayton Freight’s training and improvement programs</li>\n <li>Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating work shifts and/or assignments</li>\n <li>Adhere to the operational procedures and guidelines contained in the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 21 years of age</li>\n <li>At least 1 year of commercial driving experience</li>\n <li>Valid Class C CDL</li>\n <li>Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card</li>\n <li>No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operation in the past 3 years</li>\n <li>Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years</li>\n <li>Basic math skills</li>\n <li>Fluent in English</li>\n <li>Able to pass a drug screen</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Stable and growing organization</li>\n <li>Competitive weekly pay</li>\n <li>Full-Time pay beginning at $25.25 per hour</li>\n <li>Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours</li>\n <li>Quick advancement</li>\n <li>Quality Hours</li>\n <li>Professional, positive and people-centered work environment</li>\n <li>Modern facilities</li>\n <li>Clean, late model equipment</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, AD&D, 401(k), etc.</li>\n <li>Paid holidays (8); paid vacation and personal days</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>This position requires the ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and perform physical tasks associated with driving, equipment inspections, and local pick-up and delivery operations.
