This dual role ensures project excellence and supports organizational growth by developing internal talent and optimizing operations.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project Leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct manage key projects</li>\n<li>Review project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams.</li>\n<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring consistent communication and stakeholder satisfaction</li>\n<li>Manage subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and performance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team Oversight &amp; Development</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mentor a team of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers\n<ul>\n<li>Attend Progress meetings with owners</li>\n<li>Provide guidance and assistance to PM in management of schedule and updates</li>\n<li>Provide guidance and assistance to PM/APM in handling of subcontractor issues</li>\n<li>Ensure timely submission of contract deliverables</li>\n<li>Conduct quarterly conversations with direct reports</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive management of projects</li>\n<li>Provide guidance and assistance to PM in preparation of Owner Change Orders</li>\n<li>Report issues impacting profitability, schedule, and customer satisfaction to Director of Ops</li>\n<li>Review and support development of project execution plans, risk mitigation strategies, and client-facing deliverables.</li>\n<li>Lead performance reviews, training, and career development initiatives for direct reports.</li>\n<li>Enforce Matos processes across projects for quality, safety, scheduling, and cost control.</li>\n<li>Ensure timely submission of company deliverables (timesheets, profit projections, draw schedules, etc) of subordinates</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Operational &amp; Strategic Duties</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with senior leadership on resource allocation, project portfolio planning, and forecasting.</li>\n<li>Drive implementation of process improvements and project management software/tools.</li>\n<li>Participate in business development efforts including preconstruction planning and estimating, RFP responses, and client presentations, when required.</li>\n<li>Attend industry events as needed</li>\n</ul>",
