    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Job Purpose</u></strong></p><p>Lead and develop the Material Planning function to support manufacturing operations through effective planning and procurement, ensuring supply continuity across multiple plants. Drive initiatives to improve process efficiency, align with long-term production goals, and support broader business objectives. Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing, agile team that partners closely with Sourcing, Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain leadership. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement that reflects the company&rsquo;s core values.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Functions</u></strong></p><ul><li>Develop, lead, and execute material planning strategies to support production, inventory optimization, and forecast alignment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment&nbsp;</li><li>Oversee material purchasing, ensuring data-driven decisions that meet budget, lead time, and customer service requirements&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor and report metrics such as inventory turns, customer fill rate, and material availability to drive continuous improvement and cost savings&nbsp;</li><li>Lead, coach, and develop the Material Planning team, fostering collaboration, performance growth, and alignment with business objectives&nbsp;</li><li>Support team in investigating material issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions and sustainable solutions&nbsp;</li><li>Establish standard operating procedures for material planning and monitor effectiveness; revise and improve processes as needed&nbsp;</li><li>Partner with Sourcing and Corporate Quality to monitor supplier cost, quality and performance, resolve compliance issues, and implement strategies that strengthen vendor relationships&nbsp;</li><li>Proactively escalate issues and provide updates to key stakeholders and leadership team as needed&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with other supply chain analysis and initiatives as required&nbsp;</li><li>Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in a supply chain-related discipline and/or 7 equivalent years of experience&nbsp;</li><li>APICS affiliation/certification&nbsp;</li><li>3+ years of leadership experience with the ability to develop a high-performing team&nbsp;</li><li>5+ years of food manufacturing experience&nbsp;</li><li>8+ years in a purchasing or material planning role using MRP&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with commodity-sensitive businesses preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel; experience with ERP Systems (Microsoft Great Plains, SAP preferred)&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with manufacturing modules, including MRP, MPS, and WMS&nbsp;</li><li>Strong quantitative and analytical skills &bull; Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with multi-level personnel as well as suppliers, customers, and their representatives&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work cross-functionally, convey complex issues, and maintain confidentiality&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change, as well as help others navigate change&nbsp;</li><li>Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision</li></ul><p>MON123</p><p>RISE123</p><p><strong id=\"isPasted\"><em><span style='font-size:15px;font-family:\"Avenir Next LT Pro\",sans-serif;'>California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Washington, D.C.
